From minimoto to motogp racing
First race tomorrow
Home after a long day at work...waiting for Finley's dad to drop him off ahead of the racing at Whilton tomorrow.
I wonder how we'll get on?
I wonder if I can fit my pop-up awning in the back of the Cherokee, and if I need to take it? What alloy workbenches used for the 250's? Feel like a novice again.
Look like rain tomorrow, sadly. I hear Whilton is rather slippy in the wet - so might be pretty good learning for Finley - but I'm happy to admit a race weekend in the rain is not what I fancy as we only have the Jeep, and nowhere to sit comfortably in the dry out of the weather.
As far as the racing goes my only hopes are that if Finely comes last, it doesn't dispirit him. I don't think it will as he seems determined and a quick learner.
We will soon see.
