From minimoto to motogp racing

Got home from Whildon last night to watch the 125cc MotoGP race on V+...and what a good race it was. I'd said to Craig Linfoot how I'd be more surprised if Bradley won than Redding...which was, okay, a provactive and slightly obvious view...

But three things in particular impressed about Scott and demonstrated why I thought that about him.

1) that he was relaxed and comfy enough to take a birthday greeting for a friend onto the grid

2) he wasn't phased at all by the big guys leaning on him and won every 'battle of nerve' without being wreckless and screwing his own lap in the process and

3) that as soon as he caught the leading group (setting the fastest lap that stood til the end but failed to be noted on the TV) he repeatedly gave hand signals to GP veterans wanting to duke it out to say chill out, follow me, and we might both be in with a shout.

OK Bradl got a podium also on debut - but somehow that wasnt quite so impressive.
